This project directly aligns with Good Health and Well-Being, which advocates for physical health, mental wellness, and overall quality of life. Rather than treating health solely as exercise, Habit Help builds a balanced lifestyle by dividing daily wellness into three equal pillars: Fitness (physical exertion), Nutrition (fueling and hydration), and Mindfulness (mental rest and clarity). By making each habit small and accessible, the app promotes sustainable, long-term personal well-being.
I chose this topic because staying healthy often feels overwhelming when wellness apps focus on only one intense area, like strict calorie tracking or heavy workouts. Creating a balanced, low-friction tool means a lot to me because true well-being comes from harmony between movement, proper nourishment, and mental rest. I wanted to design an intuitive space that encourages daily consistency without causing burnout.
To build this prototype, I used Figma to map out the complete user flow, design the interface navigation, and construct interactive screen connections. I also looked at other health apps for inspiration, and used welcoming visual icons and simple button graphics that set an approachable, friendly tone across the app.
Through this project, I learned how crucial visual hierarchy and minimal user interface layout are for user engagement. Structuring complex habits—such as strength logging, hydration tracking, and meditation timers into ultra simple, three-button sub-screens showed me how thoughtful user experience design can remove friction, making health tracking feel effortless and rewarding.
